a wonderful experience....
theres always a 1st time for every1. 1st time cry, 1st time talking, 1st time driving and 1st time going into the ARMY! yupz! our dear fie went in today. a boy becoming a man, as what they say. today also marks the day which i 1st stepped into tekong. accompanied him to the place. boarded the bus after he bidded farewell to his mom. the scene, such a sad scene. *sobz* took the bus to changi jetty and we boarded the ferry. all the enlistees and parents/friends were there. but there are some who went alone.
upon reaching, ppl headed towards the signs put up for us.. we got to separate for some moment b4 getting back. got to tour the place. we saw the bunks, the common rooms, and some other places. got to wait for the enlistees to get to the auditorium for oath taking. experienced the ceromony. pretty long 1.. made us watch the stupid video on army days. some parts of it made my eyes well up. damn sad. after everything and while waiting to proceed out, they plaed westlife's songs.. sad songs and i almost cried. silly me! haha! saw fie and off we went for the catered lunch. we had rice, fries, cream of mushroom, a small bun, punch, chicken. very filling! fie coundnt finish the soup and bun, so i finished it for him. ahhaha!! my appetite is getting bigger! we had an apple too.. i could carry the whole carton back coz they are crispy! yum!! the time came when finally the visitors had to leave. said bye and off i went to sch....
reached sch at abt 3+. din expect to reach that late. found the rest and started taking my note out to study. after 3/4 of a topic, my mood for studying faded. talked, read the book, went to get titbits, and went back to talk. left the lib at arnd 8++ and there were only man, joop and wak with me left. they went to parkour. making so much noise! 1st was outside the lib, and next at engine. i helped to take the vid! ehehehe!! i contributed!
only for the studying part, today is a very fufiling day! hehe!! lastly, good luck to everyne taking the exams! we shall enjoy after it!! hopefully no 1 gets any sup!
