my new day at work.
9am - 530pm.
day started with me heading to their main HR, yes, SGH has a huge HR building away from SGH it self. there were many new ppl starting work on the same day as me. took the shuttle bus over and there it was, a colleague that was waiting for me. her name is maureen. maureen showed me the way to the office, walking through these tunnels which look like mazes, till now i dont think i know how to get in. hahaah!
at the office met a few new colleagues and 1 of them kindly briefed me a little on some happenings and ways things are done. finally my 'buddy' came and briefed me more. big boss was not around.
went out for lunch with a few of them and we headed to this canteen next to the NUS postgrad campus. tried the chicken rice and it was bloody salty.
soon plating (portioning of fd) started for dinner patients. i was showed how to recognise those egyptian-like symbols and short forms. gave me a headache coz there were lots to learn. tried 1 on my own, and took a freaking long time to settle that trolley (1 trolley can fit up to 24 trays).
for the menu, there were lots to remember coz i was hinted that the big boss likes to randomly ask 'whats on the menu today?'
so the day enede after dinner plating. wonder whats in for me today?
